I grew up hearing about my grandpa’s construction business thriving and then failing. My parents left their small town after the business folded to find work to support their kids.
After college I joined an accounting firm and at the end of my first busy season I met with our managing partner and made an impassioned plea to clarify our mission and core values to fight staff leaving. When nothing changed I knew that public accounting wasn’t my life-long calling.
I spent the next 5 years leading teams in operations and finance and followed those experiences back to my alma mater to spend the next 5 years teaching college accounting and finance and coach the men’s basketball team.
Eventually I left teaching and coaching to join the leadership team of a locally-owned health & fitness company and we began implementing EOS.
EOS revolutionized our business. We grew revenue by 30% year-over-year in the first two years, cut out all our clients that caused our staff the biggest headaches and fell in love with our business again.
I’ve been on a mission ever since to share EOS with as many owners and leaders as possible and help them revolutionize their businesses.
