For most of my life I have been involved in some kind of family business. My first job was working for 10 years for my father in retail. I learned customer service early on.
In the mid 80’s I started a company that manufactured/sold “dry wall scrapping machines” (taking the excess dry wall out of high rises), that business was “scrapped” due to recession, I became very empathetic to entrepreneurship.
I joined a company and small team of 7 others producing little revenue and no profit. I became the leader and ran the company for 30 years. We grew it approximately 25X revenue, while creating a great team and a market share leader. It was a great run, however, last few years were bumpy, we hit a ceiling, revenue stalled, and it was less fun.
Around the same time, I was introduced to EOS and read the book Traction. I learned that even though we had a great vision, our business had become too complex and we did not have an execution plan to match our vision. Our problem was defined. I was elated, actually inspired by the simplicity of EOS.
I decided to help others to see what EOS can do to help owners and leadership teams get what they want out of their business.
