I’m Julie Markee—a lifelong entrepreneur who started my first business at 12 as the neighborhood swim instructor. I taught 200+ kids each summer and quickly learned the real challenge wasn’t swimming—it was marketing and collecting payment. That sparked my love for business, problem-solving, and helping people grow.
With a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington, I built a career in process improvement—streamlining everything from tortilla chip production to metal casting—and was awarded a U.S. Patent for inventing a dryness measurement system (kpi-dry™). But no matter how technical the work, I’ve always been drawn to the people.
Today, as a Certified EOS Implementer®, I help entrepreneurs and leadership teams get what they truly want from their businesses. My engineering brain sees the most efficient path forward, and my coaching style helps teams find the courage to walk it. I bring clarity, structure, and humanity to every session—because lasting growth comes from people aligned around a clear vision, doing the work that matters most.
