Having spent the first 20 years of my career in senior people roles in big companies like BG, HP, Avon Cosmetics, RS Components and Bakkavor, I’ve learnt how joined up companies come together (and sometimes don’t) and how to build really strong leadership teams. Always knowing I would leave that world, I took that leap in 2008. Enjoying the freedom, I set up my own business, helping leaders of businesses with between 10 and 250 employees to achieve outstanding people performance.
In that next 10 year period I learnt 2 key things
- Running a business with 10 – 20 – 50 – 100 -250 people requires different levers to generate performance.
- In these sizes of business – it’s possible to build a really strong, heart felt culture and great employee engagement, a key driver of productivity. A number of my teams have gone on to build outstanding employee engagement – some winning national awards for doing so
In 2018 someone gave me a book – “TRACTION”. I then shared EOS with three businesses I was working with at the time. Seeing the pace of impact for those teams, I chose to become an EOS implementer. The rest is history.
