Break Through 6 – Systemize

Systemize is the fourth of The Five Leadership Abilities (TM) taught by EOS Implementers that helps businesses work on what it takes to break through the ceiling. Creating processes will help you streamline your operations and align your team with your business goals.

Businesses running on the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS) document their core processes simply – documenting 20% of the process delivers 80% of the value. Document the what, not the how. Once documented, processes must be followed by all. Everyone who touches any core process must be trained in and understand it, and be monitored for complying with the process. Finally, each core process must be updated and refined on a regular cadence.

This ensures that everyone on the team understands the expectations and can perform their duties consistently. It also provides a framework for problem-solving and decision-making, which can help leaders address issues before they become major problems.

The small efforts that over time add up to major differences.” By creating processes and utilizing tools like core processes, the details will be taken care of. This increases efficiency, quality, and productivity, making the business easier to manage, more scalable, and more fun!
