Matt spent over 38 years in the HVAC industry, gaining experience in design, installation and maintenance. Matt was a leader in a small business for over 25 years and small business owner for the last 12 years. He was able to help his business grow from the single office, local shop of 17 that it was when he joined, to a mid-sized regional entity of nearly 75 employees when he recently retired.

Matt has served on numerous industry boards both regionally and nationally for Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA). He is active locally as a Charter Rotarian for the Lewis River Rotary club, and is interested primarily in the Rotary Foundation and International Service. Matt holds a bachelors degree in Agricultural Engineering from Washington State University and a masters degree in Biblical Studies from Multnomah Biblical Seminary.
