Growing up in a family business, I wanted to do anything but join it. Yet after a couple of years away, I found myself back, working alongside my family. Over 20 years, we grew our business and launched various ventures. Some succeeded, others didn’t, but eventually, we hit a growth ceiling that hard work alone couldn’t break.
That’s when we implemented the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). In 18 months, we grew over 50%, but more importantly, our vision sharpened, accountability improved, and my daily workload decreased. EOS transformed our company, creating a culture where everyone owned their role and worked toward a shared goal.
This experience reshaped how I view business. Many entrepreneurs work tirelessly yet struggle to scale. I’ve learned that growth isn’t just about effort—it’s about building a structure that allows a business to thrive beyond its leader.
Beyond work, my wife and I have six kids, and we love sports, skiing, traveling, and being active together. Having the freedom to be present for these moments has been one of the greatest blessings of my journey.
