After spending 15 years in operational leadership roles in large companies, I felt a growing pull to make an entrepreneurial leap. In 2010, I quit my job and built a business. The business grew quickly, with $12 million in revenue and 60 employees by our 3rd year. But as the business expanded, I didn’t anticipate the complexity that came with growth—more clients, employees, and systems.
Keeping everyone aligned became much more challenging and frustrating, and after six years as Co-Owner & CEO, I decided to exit the business. On the other side of the exit, I learned my negative leadership experience wasn’t unique. It was then that I committed to helping other leaders navigate the complexity and regain control of their businesses.
That’s when I discovered EOS.
With EOS, I learned that the key to overcoming complexity is regaining control over the human energy within the business. Whether a company has 20 employees or 2,000, each team member’s work priorities (human energy) must be regularly realigned to the company’s vision and goals.
Put simply, EOS is the best system I’ve found to reduce complexity and to take control of your business and get it working for you.
