Michelle Owens grew up in an entrepreneurial family in the Cedar Rapids area, learning the ins and outs of business. She’s led and trained in multiple businesses, as CEO of a design firm and leading programs like Treasury management and Onboarding for a $4B aviation business. Ultimately, she says, “people are the only real driver for success and competitive differentiation. Pay attention to that and you will absolutely create value and change lives. It doesn’t get any better than that!”
Michelle has found a real knack in translating her business and people skills into tangible solutions for small business. This was amplified when she led a company that implemented EOS. She was fascinated from day one because, based on her experience, no business is immune to the frustrations in running the day-to-day.
Now, Michelle has an opportunity to truly make a difference and grow Iowa business! She’s very proud of the work she’s doing and hopes her 3 girls aspire to be fearless in their dreams as well. Michelle lives in downtown Cedar Rapids and supports Eastern Iowa as a Certified EOS Implementer®. She holds a masters degree in business and focuses her EOS practice in the technical fields/financial space.
