It’s hard to be an entrepreneur. Over my 30+ years as an entrepreneur and eight different businesses, I had plenty of days asking myself “why in the world am I doing this?”.

Several of my companies “hit the ceiling” and wouldn’t grow beyond a certain level, and I couldn’t figure out why. I was feeling really frustrated.

At our marketing firm, when we got to about $6MM in revenue everything stalled. We had great services, a super staff and loyal customers, but we just couldn’t seem to grow. I asked some of my peers for their help and many said the same thing: “Have you heard of EOS?” or “Have you read Traction?”

Once I Googled, “EOS”, it hit me like a ton of bricks. What was missing was a system. Our company had systems for HR, operations and finance, but no system for operating the entire company.
