Break Through 5 – PREDICT

Predict is the third of The Five Leadership Abilities (TM) taught by EOS Implementers that helps businesses work on what it takes to break through the ceiling.

Entrepreneurial businesses are often characterized by fast-paced, high-energy environments that can sometimes feel chaotic. While chaos can be exciting and even motivating for some, it can also lead to confusion and inefficiency. The key to eliminating chaos in business is to be proactive rather than reactive – to predict.

One tool that can help with this is the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System®) Rocks tool. This tool involves identifying and prioritizing the most important goals for the business and focusing on achieving them. By doing so, the business can reduce chaos and ensure that everyone is working towards the same objectives.

The EOS Scorecard tracks key weekly, activity-based measurables for the business. By monitoring these goals, leaders can ensure that they stay on track each week. The Scorecard also helps identify potential issues before they become major problems and make adjustments as needed.

David Green, founder of Hobby Lobby, said, “One of the most important things in business is being able to anticipate what’s coming next. You have to be able to look down the road and see what’s coming before anyone else does.”

No one can predict the future. But by being proactive with Rocks you can create your future. And by  tracking the right measurables you can anticipate what might happen next and be prepared.
