Gino Wickman and Don Tinney co-founded EOS Worldwide after discovering a shared passion for helping entrepreneurs gain traction in their businesses.
Gino, an entrepreneur who successfully turned around and sold his family business, developed the concepts that became the Entrepreneurial Operating System. Don, a seasoned business leader, joined Gino in the early days of EOS, became the second EOS Implementer, and helped build the foundation for the EOS Implementer Community.

Together, they officially launched EOS Worldwide in 2008. Today, while no longer involved in the day-to-day operations of EOS Worldwide, Gino and Don continue to passionately support entrepreneurship and the EOS Community.
2000 — Today

2000
2000 The Spark
Gino Wickman starts to create his system in September 2000.
He works with 50+ clients to refine the tools and system – calling it the Business Accelerator Model & Process.
2005
2005 Enter Don
Gino is introduced to Don Tinney. Don is completely different from Gino and Gino has doubts that Don can replicate his success.
Don sets out to prove him wrong.
2006
2006 Becoming EOS
After reproducing every one of Gino's results, Don becomes the second EOS Implementer.
In June 2006, Gino renames his system to the Entrepreneurial Operating System.
2007
2007 Traction
Gino and Don start recruiting EOS Implementers and hold the first Boot Camp in August 2007.
Gino self-publishes Traction in September 2007.
2008
2008 Liftoff
EOS Worldwide officially launches with eight EOS Implementers.
2012
2012 Get A Grip
Gino and Mike Paton publish Get A Grip.
2015
2015 Passing the Torch
Mike Paton replaces Gino as Visionary of EOS Worldwide.
Gino and Mark C. Winters publish Rocket Fuel.
The Professional EOS Implementer Community grows to more than 100 members.

2016 First Full-Timer
Kelly Knight replaces Don Tinney as Integrator and becomes EOS Worldwide's first full-time employee.
René Boer and Gino publish How to Be a Great Boss.

2017 What the Heck?
Gino and Tom Bouwer publish What the Heck is EOS?

2020 New Leadership
Mark O'Donnell replaces Mike Paton as Visionary.

Gino Wickman publishes The EOS Life, making it the sixth book in the Traction Library.
