Elevate Your Whole Company

Elevate Your Whole CompanySo, your company is on target to grow 20% this year. That’s great, but are you also set to grow 20% this year? Is your team? As businesses grow, the people in it have to grow and develop as well. With growth comes new challenges, which means you need to have the know-how to handle them. If you are not continuously developing yourself and your team, then at some point you won’t be able to handle the growth. What if there was an easy way to make sure you are moving up, and into the position your company needs you in, and the whole time, elevating the skills of your company?

EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) and my team at Nexus call this process, “Delegate and Elevate.” The first step to this simple process is to make sure you have the right people in the right seats. If you don’t have the right people in the right seats, then you really can’t delegate because your team can’t handle it. After you have fixed this, you can move on to the next step.

Now, you have to make sure you are always moving up and into the position you are uniquely gifted for. As we delegate the stuff that we aren’t very good at and or don’t like to do, we end up elevating the people below us as they are given new responsibilities. As they take on these new tasks, they also have to delegate some of their duties and move into what they love to do and are great at. You end up with everyone in your company being elevated to the level that the company needs. You will find some will need some training or assistance but at least you know it is to help them really hone in on what they are already good at. Everyone improves their skill set and they are doing what they love. Figure out what you love to do and are great at and delegate the rest. Your people are waiting.
